Yesterday afternoon when Tim got home he drove his truck into the backyard. He had his blowgun and was going around with it for a while (as is the custom these days). :)
Then, he climbed a tree to get one of his bamboo darts. Hannah and Lauren were both worried about him but celebrated once he reached the ground in safety. Lauren then took a break from playing outside, and she came in the kitchen to help me make lasagna for dinner. Hannah and Lauren both really enjoy helping me in the kitchen, and we have so much fun together! Lauren had her apron on, and I had mine on as well. Once we put the lasagna in the oven, Lauren returned outside to play with Hannah and Tim. Then, Timmy woke up. I fed him, and then dressed him in his "hunting gear" to go outside - what a cutie!
Tim was in the back of his truck with Hannah and Lauren enjoying some Papa/daughters time. They were loving it. He would later spend a while with just Hannah in the back of the truck talking and hanging out. She just eats it up!
But, when Timmy and I went outside, we found Tim sharing a jar of baby food bananas with the girls. Yes, that's right. The girls had taken out their baby diaper bags - equipped with everything except the kitchen sink. Tim had quite a time trying to convince them to eat the baby food (that's a whole other story), but they finally did and were having a great time when Timmy and I arrived.
So, there you have Mr. Hunter (Tim) sitting in his woodsy-colored apparel; Lauren is in her red apron from having helped me cook; I am in my red apron; Hannah is eating baby food and having a blast, and Timmy is in his camo gear. The boys definitely look like boys, and the girls definitely look like girls. :)
We have so much fun together as a family!
